A Course Supporting Adults with Post Traumatic Stress (PTSD)
This Course is an evidence based eight week course utilizing Kundalini Yoga for people who have experienced stress or trauma in their younger years.
Research shows that the body stores trauma in the muscle tissue and the brain. The effects of stored trauma can include nightmares, anxiety, depression, panic attacks, insomnia, fear and compromised immune system.
Stored trauma can also lead to negative self defeating behavior patterns, substance abuse and addiction.
The classes are a combination of powerful physical and mental exercises, breath work and meditations that were specifically put together to target the areas of stored trauma and dis-regulation.

Therefore, yoga is a wonderful adjunct to relational psychotherapy where the unhelpful conditioned patterns of the past can be explored and new ways of being in the world and in relationships can be identified and practiced.

Harjinder is a professional trainer and yoga therapist in training and had specialised training for teaching yoga to people with PTSD and has been offering this course since 2014. She provides a warm, safe and nurturing environment for people to journey towards their recovery.
The course will run with a minimum of 8 participants.
